Summary
    The present level of Internet development in the world forces its wider use. We get in touch with words like e-commerce or e-banking more often these days. We associate these terms with the World Wide Web. The range of services provided by the Internet is growing, but the basic function of Internet is still to propagate information. The paper shows how European Union fulfils this task.
    The paper describes and analyses Internet sites that contain information about European Union institutions law.
    The paper consists of two parts. The theoretical part includes overview of EU history, its institutions, and law. The practical part contains description, analysis, and estimation of taken websites. It also shows the practical way how and where to find desired information on the Web and how the information is organized on Internet.
