Summary
Nowadays, distance learning systems undergo constant
evolution thanks to the Internet, digital telecommunication, computer,
television, and various multimedia technologies. Remote education, more
precisely e-Learning, means utilizing various Internet-based and education-orientated
tools.
The purpose of this thesis is the analyses of both
technical and organizational matters that one is exposed to in the Internet
assisted learning (e-Learning) when studying "Elements of Law" in the Transportation
Department of the Poznan University of Technology.
The theoretical part focuses on defining matters
and methods. It also presents several remote learning systems. In the practical
part, we shall find course analyses, opportunities and threats of the Internet
assisted learning.
The thesis identifies advantages and disadvantages
of the employed Internet methods and tools in the selected case of distance
learning.
