The work describes and analyzes the informatics' tools used in logistic processes on the base of textile branch.

The work presents an international strategies and logistic trends, opportunities, and threads standing in front of development of logistics in Poland, as well as global system of goods' identification.

The main aim of the work is showing the role of using the informatics' techniques in the activity of the modern company.

From the analysis carried out we can see that the companies in connection with increasing competition and market globalization should take into account an application of modern informatics' systems, which comprehensively support managing processes and make process of matching products and services into the changeable and more and more sophisticated clients needs easier.

On the base of the real firm the work analyzes planning and production system before introducing an integrated system in the firm, presents facilities, which appeared after introducing this system, and also shows system of goods identification and registration of the production processes.

It should be remembered that possessing even the best tools in the form of efficient informatics' system do not mean that the company from day to day will transform in very competitive firm managed in modern method. There are a lot of recommendations and conditions, which should be taken into account in the process of preparing the company for introducing the comprehensive informatics' system. Successes in improvement of managing through informatization depend also on attitudes of workers whom this informatics tool was meant for.
